AAMA Creates Glossary to Ensure Consistency in Technical
Documents
The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) has
released an all-encompassing glossary to be used when referencing
definitions in AAMA documents.
"AAMA standards and specifications are used by thousands of industry
professionals, and we wanted to ensure consistency throughout all
of the documents," says John Lewis, AAMA technical director. "Therefore,
the new AAMA Glossary was assembled."
According to Lewis, "Future new and updated documents will reference
the glossary at the introduction of the publication. Any new terms
not currently included in the AAMA Glossary will be placed at the
beginning as well."
The AAMA Glossary (AAMA AG-07) is free and is available in the
Members Only area of AAMA's web site, www.aamanet.org.
A link to the glossary is now included with each AAMA publication
order.
