Guardian Introduces Sun-Guard® Laminated Glass

Guardian has introduced a laminated version of its popular Sun-Guard® SN-68 high performance low-E glass.

"Sun-Guard SN-68 is Guardian's high performance commercial low-E glass that is widely specified due to excellent light transmission and energy saving performance. Now, it can provide dollar-saving solar control and can be laminated for outstanding hurricane-rated performance," said Chris Dolan, Guardian's director of commercial glass products. "Not only will it drive energy costs down, but SN-68 will also deliver all the benefits of laminated technology including sound attenuation, safety, security and hurricane protection."

SN-68 laminated will maintain the clear, neutral appearance the commercial market demands. Its high light transmission and excellent solar control combined with the protection provided by lamination - it passes hurricane small and large missile tests - give the product distinct design advantages for virtually any application.
