
Glassopolis Wins $100,000 at Glass Competition for Small
Businesses

Glassopolis recently earned a $100,000 award at the recent Challenge
Competition for its conception of Fireswiss, a fire-rated glass
product. The event was sponsored by the Toronto-based Globe and
Mail and Telus.
According to information provided by Glassopolis, proposals were
analyzed by a panel of six judges. Glassopolis, a fabricator and
distributer of specialty glass, was selected out of 1,200 small-business
participants for its Fireswiss proposal.
The award will help us purchase the best equipment to process
our new product, says Rob Botman, general manager of Glassopolis.
