DuPont Named Top Employer by Science Magazine
September 24, 2012
DuPont recently was named to Science magazine’s list of “Top Employers.” The company was ranked at No. 10, up four spots from last year.
The poll is conducted by Science magazine and highlights the best employers in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical and related fields. The poll tallied the responses of 4,276 Science magazine readers and other survey participants from North America, Europe and Asia and rated companies on 23 characteristics. Financial strength, easy adaptation to change and a research-driven environment were among the categories surveyed.
“At DuPont we work hard to empower our scientists as they invent and innovate for our diverse, global customer base,” says Douglas Muzyka, senior vice president and chief science and technology officer. “Being named to Science magazine’s Top Employer list is especially rewarding because it’s the voice of our scientists and engineers and reflects the grade they give us, motivating us to continuously improve.”
